After setting up placements in your project via the IR SDK, they will appear on the IR Enterprise Platform, confirming their creation and registration. Placements are visible in two key sections: Draft Settings and Studio.

Draft Settings

  • The Draft Settings section, located under Monetize -> Placements, is the first place where newly created and registered placements appear.

  • This section reflects the latest server-side changes to placements on the IR Enterprise Platform as made in your project. However, it does not represent the latest published version, which is displayed in the Studio section - Live version.

  • It provides visibility into:

    • Newly created placements.

    • Updates and changes made on the server side.

    • A clear comparison of what exists in your project versus what is reflected on the platform.

Studio

  • The Studio section displays the live settings of registered placements in the published virtual world.

  • After publishing your build with placements, the Studio offers additional configuration options:

    1. Enable/Disable Placements: Control the visibility of specific placements.

    2. Set Pricing: Assign prices for individual placements or all placements for advertisers.

    3. Default Ad Configuration:

      1. Set a default ad to display if there are no active ad campaigns.

      2. Use this space for promotions, such as “Place your ad here” or content related to your experience.

      3. If no default ad is set, banners will appear transparent.

This setup ensures you have full control over the placement lifecycle, from creation to publishing and monetization.
