SDK Installation & Authentication

This section provides detailed guidance on using the IR SDK for Unity.

Installation

1. Download the SDK:

  • Access the latest version of the IR SDK for Unity from the IR Enterprise Platform.

2. Import the SDK into Unity:

  • Open your Unity project.

  • Navigate to Assets > Import Package > Custom Package.

  • Select the downloaded SDK file and import it into your project.

3. Initial Setup:

  • Once the SDK is imported, you should see LVSDK folder in the Assets/Plugins folder and LV should appear in teh Unity menu

Authenticate IR SDK

Login into the IR SDK. There are next options on how to do it based on your convenience:

  1. Open LV menu, press manage. Insert authentication token obtained on the IR Platform, and press Authenticate.

  2. Select or create new experience on the IR Enterprise Platform. You can also create Experience via IR Platform directly.

Key Features and Modules

Advertisement Integration

  • The SDK enables you to add ad placements within your 3D experience.

  • Customize ad sizes, formats, and placement price through the IR Enterprise dashboard.

Measurements and Insights

  • Track user behavior and interactions in real-time using the built-in analytics module.

  • Add the IRTracker component to the area you want to monitor.

  • Gain access to metrics such as active users, session durations, heatmaps, and engagement trends.

E-commerce Integration

  • Seamlessly incorporate product displays and purchase options into your 3D world.

  • Use the SDK IRECommerce module to connect your purchasable items from shopify.

  • Enable in-app purchases and product catalog integration for a richer user experience.

Open LV menu, press manage. Insert authentication token obtained on the IR Platform, and press Authenticate.

Add IR SDK Controller component to the empty object of your scene. Insert authentication token obtained on the IR Platform, and press Authenticate.

LV -> Manage -> Choose experience from the dropdown -> Select Experience You can also press on "+" button to create experience directly from the SDK.
