Banners (or display ads) are the most basic type of placement. They display 2D static image content, much like a piece of paper or a poster in the real world.
We support 6 sizes, which are all industry standard ad sizes to make sure that advertisers support them.
You can place those placememnts into your experience to the desired places them of your scene. The multiple sizes allow you to 'mix and match' your placements so that they fit your content better and create a more natural user experience.
We support 2 video sizes, which are standard in the industry and well supoported by advertisers.
When the app is LIVE and serving ads, the Admix placeholder will be replaced with a real banner ad.
If this ad space isn't sold for whatever reason, the placeholder will appear transparent as if there were no ad at all.
Do
Resize your placements The bigger the placement, the more likely it is to be seen and therefore the more revenue you'll make.
Overlay shaders Similarly, Admix provides you with some default shaders to make the ads texture even more realistic.
Don't
Overlap your placements Stacking placements on top of each other is considered fraud as it is deceiving for advertisers. Moreover, it doesn't actually generate more revenue since they placements underneath will not be seen by players.
Turn placements upside down Advertisers want to make sure their brand is displayed properly to the player so, for that reason, turning the ads upside down is not allowed.
Hide your placements Placements that are hidden from players or that are too small to be seen well will not generate much revenue. Always remember that there will be some compromise between experience and revenue!
